Dr Jir Ping Boey

Dr Jir Ping (JP) Boey graduated from Peking University in 2000. He worked in general medicine in Malaysia where he obtained the Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (United Kingdom) before migrating to Australia in 2009. He underwent advanced training in haematology in South Australia and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.

Dr Boey has a public appointment as a consultant clinical and laboratory Haematologist at Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Hospital. He is also the visiting Haematologist to Broken Hill Base Hospital, NSW. He is a member of the American Society of Haematology and the International Society of Thrombosis and Haemostasis.

Dr Boey sees private patients at Flinders Private Hospital and welcomes referrals for specialist review in all aspects of malignant and non-malignant haematology.
